Building Innovation brings together companies, research and education institutions, entrepreneurs and public sector bodies in the construction, civil engineering and real estate industry. Those who take part contribute, learn and create results together.

That is why we connect players who want to test new solutions in energy, circular economy and urban infrastructure, with technology as a cross-cutting theme. The cluster is part-funded through Innovation Norway’s cluster programme.

The story in short

From proptech cluster to working community

2018Proptech Innovation is established in Bergen with BOB as founding partner.
May 2025The annual meeting adopts the new name Building Innovation. The whole construction and real estate industry comes on board.
Sep 2025Building Innovation Arctic is approved. Kick-off in Tromsø in January 2026.
Feb 2026Skur 26 opens on Dokken. NOK 100,000 in sales in the first month.
