Skur 26, the Sirken reuse hall

Bergen’s first reuse centre for building materials, on Dokken, and a living lab where the industry tests circular solutions in practice. Opened 16 February 2026 in cooperation with Bergen Chamber of Commerce and the industry. It is also where the cluster is based.

Concrete LEGO

Cast-in-place concrete is to become modular building blocks that can be used again. Three workshops completed with RockSlice, Frydenbø and PwC.

Urban Mining and Kontiki

We tracked one reused ventilation duct through the whole value chain, from donor building to new building. The project gave us the donor building register and a new role in the industry: urban miner.

The cluster’s methodology brought to Tromsø and the Norwegian Arctic. Innovation Norway supports the initiative with up to NOK 1 million a year for three years. Kick-off at BoNord in January 2026.

Where the members set the direction

We have two resource groups, one for circular economy and one for energy, with people from the member companies. The groups meet regularly, share what they learn, and decide which events and projects the cluster launches.

EmpireAI met BOB

EmpireAI presented its solution at a breakfast meeting for real estate players hosted by the cluster. BOB was in the room. The meeting ended in a contract.
