Four things members do together

What we do →
01

Meeting places

Breakfast meetings, courses, workshops, conferences and study trips. Some are open, more are reserved for members.

02

Industry projects

We put together project groups, test solutions in practice and help with funding applications.

03

Resource groups

Expert groups in circular economy, energy and technology. Here members share experience and set the direction.

04

Visibility

We promote members’ solutions through newsletters, podcasts, webinars and stages.

Three ways to take part

Member, partner or academia

The difference is about role, not the number of events. Members take part. Partners help set the direction for the cluster. Academia connects research and students with the industry.

The whole company becomes a member. We are based in Bergen, but the cluster is national. A company or group joins with its entire business, and the price follows the number of full-time employees.

New companies should grow. The pace of innovation in the industry depends on founders and small and medium-sized businesses getting a seat at the table. The small ones get as much out of the community as the large ones, but pay less, so the threshold for joining is low. Startups pay NOK 5,000 per year and get the same as every other member: meeting customers at breakfast meetings, stage time at Building Tomorrow and access to companies that want to test new solutions. Both Innovation Norway and the EU emphasise that clusters should lift up start-ups and SMEs. We take that responsibility.

Universities, colleges and research institutions pay one fixed price, NOK 80,000 per year, regardless of size. Read more about academia.

If you join mid-year, we agree a price for the rest of the year.
